Got a new title and the Japanese characters in a banner... Still settling a few layout issues.

There are plenty of good reasons to use a content management system for a blog - In fact, it's always a good idea to separate content from presentation - But, I wanted simplicity, and software that other people write has a tendency to grow in complexity. You can see why... Programmers want to show off their skills, and Users all have ideas for new features.

I had a pleasant two years using Typo, but when it broke, I couldn't get much help fixing it. Having been built on several layers of code libraries, it caused me considerable pain. When systems interact, who will admit failure? All parties insist that it should work. Well... yeah. That's what I thought, too.
